About Mike Afford
Mike Afford is an award-winning motion Graphic Designer, formerly with the BBC at Television Centre in London. His broadcast work has been seen by millions around the world.
Recent projects have included the branding and channel identity of BBC Arabic TV, 3D virtual studio design for Setanta Sports in Dublin, and most recently the graphics and logo design for the BBC Two series The Hairy Bikers’ Food Tour of Britain.
He has won broadcast industry awards (BAFTA, Royal Television Society, Broadcast Designers Association) for high profile projects including graphics for the BBC’s General Election programmes and BBC Weather.
Now based in Leitrim, Mike’s award-winning design expertise is available to businesses and broadcasters in Ireland and the UK for all types of broadcast and motion graphic design work – channel branding, VR studios, corporate video graphics, and other motion graphic content.
